What is the difference between Single Stage and Double Stage blowers?
A Single Impeller (Single Stage) blower utilizes one spinning impeller to move air. It is optimized for high airflow volume (up to 2050 m³/h), making it perfect for air knife drying, wastewater aeration, and pneumatic conveying. Double stage blowers use two impellers to generate higher pressure but with lower overall airflow.
Can the SC Series operate in both pressure and vacuum modes?
Yes. Because of its side channel (regenerative) design, the SC Series can function as both a high-pressure blower (blowing air out) and an industrial vacuum pump (sucking air in). For example, the SC-18500-K3T7 can deliver up to 400 mbar of pressure or -380 mbar of vacuum.
Is the air output safe for food and pharmaceutical applications?
Absolutely. The impeller spins within the housing without making physical contact, eliminating the need for internal oil lubrication. This guarantees 100% oil-free and emission-free air, fully complying with FDA guidelines for food packaging and pharmaceutical processing.
